Artist Statement:
This ring celebrates my North African heritage. Nubia lies along the river Nile between southern Egypt and central Sudan. Nubian dwellings usually have vibrant exteriors that tells the story of its inhabitants through a series of markings and geometric patterns. This hollow form ring features an enameled element marked with graphite and 24k gold. Golden opal rounds adorn the top of the house.
