Artist Statement:
Jung Ki (Jackie) Min, NY based Jewelry Designer and Maker. Mainly inspired by nature but also add my own unique views toward them.
This ring is inspired by corals. There are many kinds of coral, but this is a combined design from several species. Textured branch-shaped corals stretch out from the band which looks like a shell-shaped joint. These two bundles can be beautifully seated on the hands.
Wax carving piece, cast by bronze, oxidized with liver of sulfur patina.
