Artist Statement:
I am a hobbyist/very small business owner in North Bend, WA. I have a little home studio and LOTS of rocks. My favorite pieces to make are bold feminine statements, with lots of texture and rustic appeal. This ring is entirely hand fabricated from silver sheet, with 22k and 18k gold accents. The stone is a beautiful Painted Pony jasper that was hand cut in Sunnyside, WA. It is part of my “Betty” collection, which is inspired by my maternal grandmother’s impressive gardening skills. Her flowers and plants have always brought me joy in trying times. I think the emergence of Spring is a welcome comfort for all of us.
