Danielle Cadef is a jewelry artist in Durham, NC. As a native Floridian, the flora, fauna and landscapes are a continual inspiration in her work. She is self-taught, utilizing the library, internet and experimentation for education. Always fascinated by how people have adorned themselves, Danielle explores the history of jewelry and its techniques across time and cultures.
The Mermaid Armor ring was created for this challenge as an exercise to push myself to create up. I have been incorporating found objects in my more experimental work lately, especially shells, sea glass,rocks and wood.
