Artist Statement:
I made this ring as part of a series of pieces inspired by flowers. The series includes rings and earrings. This ring features a silver cup shaped as petals with a similarly shaped inner cup that is enameled blue. The silver ring was made separately and the finished enameled piece was riveted in place. A spacer keeps the enameled flower floating above the silver ring.
After working in the software industry for many years, I have returned to metalworking and enjoying it immensely.
