Private instruction begins at $90/hr + materials. A project planning fee may apply.
Additional students are $15/hr + materials for each additional student. (Due to COVID-19, there is a two student maximum at this time.)
Private instruction sessions are typically 2-3 hours. The number of hours and sessions required depends on the project.
Sessions are held in our University District studio in Seattle, WA. We can accommodate beginner through advanced students wanting to work in silver, gold, copper, brass, and bronze. Private instruction sessions are great for learning fabrication, soldering, stone setting, forging, enameling, low-tech casting (gravity pour with cuttlebone and tufa stone) and more. Our studio is not equipped for engraving or centrifugal casting.
Payment for private instruction is required to reserve the studio. Recurring sessions may be billed weekly or monthly. Danaca Design will provide one invoice for group reservations. The invoice for group reservations may be split into two parts: a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the remaining balance due at time of service. Payment for special order materials may be required in advance.
