I live in The Woodlands, Texas but I’m originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Having a science background with a degree in Geology, eleven years ago I decided to follow my passion and registered for classes in the Glassell School of Art a branch from the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston (MFAH) in the Department of Jewelry. I actively participate in the Advance Class Program to keep current.
I’m a sales representative, and sell my production work at High Gloss. I participate in local shows during the year through my own business Rokka Rokka. I’m currently a Board member of Houston Metal Arts Guild (HMAG) and responsible for Workshop Planning.
When I work with corrugated metal I tend to construct spiral shapes. It reminds me of breath taking iconic staircases, its proportions, aesthetics, opulence, and in certain cases the majesty of its simplicity. The staircase concept inspired me in the design of this ring.
