Join a Mentored Independent Study group to learn new skills in a consistently supportive environment. With instructor guidance, these weekly classes allow students to explore a wide range of projects and techniques from the comfort of their home studio. Class-time can be used to both game-plan and work, while demonstrations are tailored specifically to each student. Demonstration request must be emailed to the studio a minimum to two days prior to class meeting time. This is an excellent opportunity to tackle a challenging project that you need feedback on, or technical advice to execute. Basic metal working skills are required.
Students MUST have:
A computer, laptop, smart phone or iPad for conference video (Zoom app required for phone- it’s free!)
If you do not have experience with Zoom, fret not! We will provide a free online tutorial with one of our staff to help you get comfortable before class. A quick rundown will also be covered the first night of class!
A home studio of some sort, can be in your garage, kitchen, back porch…
