Artist Statement:
Born and raised on the Puget Sound, I spent my childhood playing in the water, exploring low tides and most of all beach combing for tiny treasures and seeing what the tide washed ashore. There’s nothing like peering down into a tide pool and seeing a starfish, or a crab skitter by, barefoot in the sand. This ring encapsulates those memories. It is made of sterling silver and resin, with sand, tiny crab claw, and shell collected by me in Seattle with love.
